Wilmark Rizzo Hernandez, President of the Romanian Dance Association and organizer of the Gozadero Latin Fest at the Black Sea (originally in Vama Veche and now at the Mamaia resort), is already renowned for his extraordinary events and professional dancing talent.

In 2024, he was honored with the Excellence Award at the European Summit in Paris, held at the Palais Brongniart, for inspiring trust in both Romanian and international talent and for his ability to share his passion for professional dancing with new generations.

“I am deeply honored by your invitation to the European Summit in Paris and by the gracious recognition of my work through the Excellence Award. It is truly a privilege to be acknowledged for my efforts in promoting unity, dance, and culture across Europe.

While I am delighted to accept this prestigious award, I must unfortunately inform you that I will be unable to attend the ceremony at the Brongniart Palace due to prior commitments during my time in Paris.​ It is a fortunate coincidence that I will also be in the city, but my obligations, planned well in advance, will prevent me from joining you at the event. Nevertheless, I am sincerely grateful for this recognition and the opportunity it represents. I look forward to continuing our shared mission of fostering Olympic values and a stronger Europe through arts and culture, and I hope for future occasions to collaborate.” said Wilmark Rizzo Hernandez in 2024, President of the Romanian Dance Association and organizer, together with his wonderful wife Ioana and their dedicated teams, of the Gozadero Latin Fest.
